Where is Santa Teresa Gallura?
Santa Teresa is situated at the northernmost tip of Sardinia and overlooks the Strait of Bonifacio.
What are the nearest airports and harbours?
The nearest airport is Olbia (65 km) and Alghero airport is about 130 km away. The nearest harbours are Olbia and Golfo Aranci, about 60 km away, while the Porto Torres harbour is about 110 km away.
Is the Olbia Costa Smeralda airport connected to Santa Teresa by a bus service?
Yes. There is a company called Turmotravel that connects the airport to Santa Teresa several times a day. The journey takes about 1½ hours and costs 10 euros. The ticket can be bought directly on board.
How much does a taxi from Olbia airport/harbour to Contessa cost?
If booked through our hotel € 90 each way, if booked locally approx. € 130 each way.
Is the port of Olbia connected to Santa Teresa by a bus service?
Yes. There is a regional bus company called ARST. The duration of the trip is about 1 ½ hours and the cost is 10 Euros. Tickets can be bought directly on board.
How much does a taxi from the Alghero airport/harbour or Porto Torres harbour to the Contessa cost?
If booked in agreement with our hotel € 130 each way, if booked locally approx. € 180 each way.
Is there a connection to Corsica?
Certainly! From the commercial port, the Moby and Blu Navy shipping companies connect Santa Teresa with Bonifacio on several occasions every day. The best fares can be found on the websites of the two companies.
What is the distance from the Commercial Port?
The harbour is about 900 m from the property and consists of a commercial area from where the ships that connect Santa Teresa to Bonifacio depart and a tourist area where all the boats that make the trips to the archipelago of La Maddalena, Arcipelago Corso, Diving, Sailing etc. etc. are located.
Is there a connection to the island of La Maddalena?
Certainly! From the port of Palau, about 25 km from Santa Teresa Gallura, ships connect Palau to the island of La Maddalena every hour. The best fares can be found on the websites of the two companies or directly at the Maritime Station.
What is the distance from the Rena Bianca beach and the main square?
The Rena Bianca beach, the main square and the Aragonese Tower are only 400-900 m away.
Are there any other beaches or tourist attractions in the area?
The municipality of Santa Teresa Gallura boasts 78 km of coastline and 9 km of beaches, stretching from east to west and offering unique natural attractions for tourists. One of the most famous tourist destinations in the area, which is only 3 km from the complex, is CAPO TESTA. This is a peninsula connected to the mainland by a narrow strip of land and known worldwide for its white beaches and imposing granite boulders. Which, as they plunge into the Strait of Bonifacio, create ravines and coves that are unique in the world.
The main locations are Valle della Luna or Cala Grande, Cala Spinosa, Cala Francese, Zia Colomba, Le colonne Romane, Levante and Ponente beaches, Funtanaccia, the Granites etc.

How can I request a quote without having to make a reservation?
Requesting a quote is very simple and costs absolutely nothing: our staff is at your complete disposal to find the best solution to meet your needs. I have read that the property contains 22 rooms with Bed & Breakfast format and 40 apartments of different types.
Of course we do. Our staff works daily to provide the best possible accommodation that meets the different preferences of our guests, so please let us know if you have any special needs or preferences when you make your booking so that we can offer you the solution that best meets your expectations. If you do not provide us with any information, we will assign you an accommodation of your choice that corresponds to the confirmed type. Keep in mind that for us one apartment is as good as another, they are all more beautiful and comfortable than the other.
Can I choose the accommodation in the location I prefer?
If you have any particular preferences, we advise you to express them when booking and we will do our best to accommodate you, subject to availability. Obviously, the type of accommodation booked will be guaranteed.
The sooner you book, the greater the choice!
If I book in advance, do I get discounts?
Of course, the earlier you book the more you save!

What days are allowed for arrivals and departures?
There are no constraints, you can arrive and depart on any day of the week you like after checking availability.
What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept payment by bank transfer, cash and all major credit cards except American Express.
When do I have to pay the balance?
All amounts due, balance of stay and/or mandatory services fee must be paid upon check-in.
Can I also book the journey by boat/airplane with you? Do you have any special agreements?
As far as SHIP connections are concerned, we have special agreements with all the ship companies to ensure special rates for our guests, therefore send us your request and we will send you our best quote shortly.
As far as AIR connections are concerned, you can find the best rates on the airline's website; we cannot help you if you need a taxi.
What if I need an invoice?
You will have to request it before making the payment and, as required by law, you will have to provide us with all the necessary information for its release including the SDI and Pec code.
What happens if I can no longer travel? What penalties will be applied?
If you have chosen a REFUNDABLE RATE when booking, you can cancel your booking free of charge up to 14 days before your arrival. If you cancel in the 14 days before your arrival, you will lose the entire amount you paid on confirmation of your booking.
If you have chosen a NON REFUNDABLE RATE at the time of booking, please be aware that in case of cancellation you WILL LOSE the entire amount paid on confirmation of your booking.

Can I arrive before the check-in time?
Of course, if you let us know in advance, we will make the best possible preparations to welcome you to the hotel and you can start your holiday immediately by taking advantage of our services.
Do you offer luggage storage and/or changing facilities?
Yes, we have a luggage room, a changing room with showers for men and women so you do not miss a minute of your well-deserved holiday.

What can I do if my departure is very early?
Please arrive at reception by 6 pm the day before to complete your check-out and say goodbye. In the morning, you can leave the keys in the box outside reception.
Can I use the services on the day of departure after having vacated my accommodation?
Certainly. You can use our common areas, swimming pool, changing rooms and showers until your departure.
Is there animation for children?
We do not offer animation, but our young guests can have fun with each other in our playroom.
Do you have bike hire?
We do not have bikes available, but we can refer you to our partners who will offer you a complete service.
Is it possible to book trips and excursions with you?
Speak to our staff at reception and we will show you various proposals for discovering the area!
Is it possible to book trips in advance?
Yes, it is possible and recommended. Choose the excursion you would like to do on our website and contact us so we can provide you with more information.
Is there a public transport service to reach the beaches?
Yes, a municipal service is being set up from June to September that will enable you to reach the various strategic points in the area.
Do you offer a private shuttle to the beaches?
Yes, it is offered on request and you can refer to the reception for more information.
Are all the beaches free? Are there equipped lidos?
The principal beaches in the area are partly equipped and partly free. You can therefore decide whether you prefer to book the service with sun loungers and beach umbrellas (to be agreed on site) or to enjoy the free part. You can also visit one of the numerous coves where there is no establishment of any kind.
I would like to do sport, what are my options?
The area offers different opportunities according to your preferences.
We can advise you on activities on the sea such as surfing, diving, canoeing or trekking, cycling (with or without a guide), horse riding, etc.

Does the Residence have a Reception?
The reception desk is available daily from 8 am to 10 pm and we will be happy to answer all your questions and provide you with the best information to enrich your holiday with the activities that interest you most!
Does the residence have a swimming pool?
You can relax in our swimming pool and let the sun kiss you on our sun loungers and in the Jacuzzi on the panoramic terrace.
Does the Residence have a laundry service?
Yes, we have a space with two coin-operated washing machines at your disposal
Is it possible to reserve a cot and high chair?
Cots and high chairs for younger guests must be requested at the time of booking and are subject to a small charge.
Is the linen provided?
Linen is included in the rooms but not in the apartments.
If you have booked an apartment but do not want to bring your own, we can offer you ours, you only have to request it during the estimate phase and it will be included in the final price.
How much does the linen cost?
The cost is 15 euros per person and includes bed linen and towels.
Does the Residence have a car park?
You can reserve a parking space for a fee or you can park your car in the streets surrounding the hotel.
The parking space is included in the booking of rooms.
Are pets allowed?
Small pets are welcome, to be reported at the time of booking, and there is an extra charge.
At what time can I access the Roof Terrace?
Our panoramic terrace is at your disposal from 10 am to 8 pm: you can sit and enjoy the sun loungers, chairs and relax in the whirlpool baths.
Dining services and Bars
What are the hours of the bar?
Our bar is at your disposal at the same time as the hours of the reception desk.
Where do you serve breakfast?
Depending on the weather conditions, breakfast is served at the poolside or on the panoramic roof terrace.
Do you provide Room Service?
If requested in advance, yes, we have agreements with several establishments in Santa Teresa that deliver directly to the property.
Does it have an additional cost?
Yes, depending on the menu chosen.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is included if you have booked one of our Rena Bianca Suite rooms, but if you have booked an apartments at the Residence La Contessa you will be able to enjoy it either a la carte or at a fixed price.
At what time is it served?
From 8.00 to 10.30 am
What if I have to leave very early?
If you notify the reception the day before, a basket will be prepared for you to take away.
What does breakfast consist of?
The Italian breakfast buffet includes sweet and savoury options as well as express beverages prepared in our cafeteria.
